Jessica Miller- Yoga Instructor. My love for yoga began when I got too old to be a ballerina anymore. Yoga was the closest thing I could find to make my body feel as good as it did when I danced and I’ve been doing it for almost twenty years now. I became certified as a yoga instructor in 2009 and have taught in a variety of settings with both kids and adults. Paddleboard yoga is the definitely the most unique and the most fun! When I’m not teaching yoga, I stay busy working as a speech therapist and taking care of my five daughters ages 3 to 16. With that many kids, yoga is a must to preserve my sanity! See you on the water!
Amanda Pepper- Yoga Instructor.
About 13 years ago I found yoga at the local YMCA in Dallas TX, the class times were always a little random but I found that was where I found so much calmness. Over the years I would take a few classes but never found it very accessible for the times I was at the gym.
In 2010 we moved to Gilbert and I found I was just over a mile away from this amazing studio. I could not stop coming, I canceled my gym membership and found such joy and calmness on my mat that I decided to do Sumits 200 hr yoga training. After taking 9 weekends away from my family and learning and growing beyond what I ever expected I have found something that makes me want to be a better person, friend, mother and wife. I continued on to get my masters yoga certification my 500 hr. And I hope that I can spread that with all the wonderful people I am able to guide through their practice.

I was lucky enough to appear on the 2013 America Ninja Warrior Show on NBC in Baltimore, Maryland. I've been featured on various local news programs with children’s yoga classes, paddleboard fitness classes and most recently, on the cover of Phoenix Magazine.
My love for water started as a synchronized swimmer. I've competed and coached at several National-level competitions. Over the past two decades, I have facilitated various swimming programs throughout the valley, eventually starting my own business. I also love open water swimming. I swam around Alcatraz Island & the Hudson River 10K in NYC.
With fitness classes and swimming in my repertoire, the obvious next step for me was paddleboarding! Starting a Stand-up paddleboarding business proved to be a great way to connect with friends and enjoy a challenging yet invigorating workout in nature!
As paddleboard classes slowed down in the winter, I realized Arizona needed another unique way to do yoga and workout. Goats! Goats make working out TONS of fun. Teaming up with April Gould, Arizona's Goat Whisperer, we have created fun yoga classes centered around GOATS! Goats and nature make people happier, you'll love working out with goats! We teach the classes at The John Volken Academy Gilbert, AZ!
